Australian coin

The Reserve Bank of Australia has been working on creating new, "youthful"-looking bank notes for the past five years, according to a report.

So the obvious question is when will they be released?
I know that 2012 notes are out, and they will still be printing into 2013.

[attachment=173]It seems that the UK is likely to release a new 10 Pound Note shortly.

They're certainly very colourful.

Don't know that I'd call them youthful though, maybe the images are a bit naive looking. Makes me wonder who the artist or artists might be, or are they computer graphics, who can tell these days. :scratch_one-s_head:

Garry Emery, who had a hand in designing the last batch apparently: http://www.news.com.au/money/money-matters/bank-note-designs-cash-in-on-youthful-image/story-e6frfmd9-1226482261212

It is always nice to have a change......good or bad.

I don't think they look to bad though.

More modern design.
