1973 50 cent die crack

Haven't seen this before in a 50c.It's a diecrack including a metal
overlap in the shape of a tongue.The coin is pristine apart from this
anomaly.Sorry about the closeup photo as I dont have macro on my camera

hmm cant really see it, it looks more like a planchet flaw, but I think die cracks in modern coins are quite rare and unusual, I did find one on a 20c and it was sent to nancy

I've tried to find the 2011 20c coin I received from AC, but I obviously put it in a 'safe' place, and it is apparently very very safe. :angel:

I'll have a few more goes at finding it to enable me to get another piccie of it, but no promises made. :whistle2:
