How do they have and why are they still issuing coins from 2019, 2020 and 2021?
I hope they are better organised this year.

Well this seems to have been less of a debacle than last year. Everyone had to come through the front so a little less waiting around in the sun, which was good. Many of us streamed past the dealers. I was surprised to see the Australia Post line was longer than the RAM line. I thought most people had cottoned on to the scam of stamp collecting, especially when you can often buy mint stamps at 70% face value or less.
I was saddened to hear a couple in their early thirties (guesswork) with a coin folder in hand, say they wanted to get some $2 coins for their kids' future. I nearly said "Buy gold and/or silver bullion and they might thank you" but shut my mouth. I dislike seeing people waste their money because speculators have been driving the prices up.
I want to scream It's a Ponzi scheme like crypto.

Couldn't get a Countdown coin for my wife either. Even the dealers I spoke to didn't have any stock. Didn't they mint 50,000 of them?

Oh, someone sent me this but I missed it.

The mixed bundle was the same as in April right?

I don't know. I didn't compare them.
I really went for the $2 purple poppy and the 50 cent Naidoc bags. They had a limit of three sachets of each but just as I got to the counter they changed the poppy limit to 5.

How often are these shows? They're more than once a year aren't they?

Usually once a year around the regions.

The show this thread began about only happens once a year; it's not the ANDA show, it's run by a local stamp-and-coin club and they don't really have the resources and volunteers to do it more than once a year.

This year (2025) it's not going to be at QE2 Stadium; it's going to be at the Croatian Club, in Rocklea. They've announced the RAM will be there, but not sure if they're doing a coin swap again.
