I will be in Fiji in September Pedro and will keep an eye out for them. How many do you want if i find some? [Not likely.]

I am fairly certain they had a mention somewhere here before and the point was raised that they may be legal tender but they are not a coin.

As many as you can find Jeff and I expect to see the photographic evidence of you rummaging through garbage bins across the breadth of Fiji :laugh2:

That is a challenge to which I don't think I will rise!

How about a genuine Fiji coin with the same design?
The reserve Bank will happily sell me one for FJD$36.40 (about AUD$24).
"No" you say.

Then how about some genuine Fiji bottle caps? As featured here*... They aren't hard to find and, in fact, I generate quite a few of those on a visit. Quantity you can have is only limited by my luggage allowance on the return trip. Bet I wouldn't get a suitcase full of those past the scanner at the airport without being asked to open for inspection. :laugh2:

*Sorry, I must already have given the cap from that one to another keen collector.

Thanks for the kind offer Jeff but I might give the Fiji caps a miss ;)
