Gold coins found in piano

[Goose]

British officials are trying to trace the owner of a trove of gold coins found stashed inside a piano. When the piano's owners took it to be tuned last year, it was found to contain a hoard of gold sovereigns minted between the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. The investigators have determined that the piano was built in London in 1906 and sold to a pair of piano teachers.

Too late, its my long lost Grandfather Cecil Cedric Basil, lol.

No hiding these days with the miniature hand held metal detectors, the guy on the Gold Coast a few years back claimed they were inside his Printer but the thieves still found them.

did they say how many coins they found?

Nope. That's part of the burden of proof for any potential claimants.

I'd reckon there were some golden oldies played on that piano. How grand.
