I am still waiting, but am not worried as Santa has a long way to travel from OZ to Oregon! Especially after all those cookies, the sleigh can barely hold him now!

Ok, so last night as I was getting ready to head out to my local coin club meeting, I was searching all around my desk for the bag I use to carry any items I am taking with me to the meeting. As I am on my hands and knees looking under the dresser next to my desk, what do I see?! An airmail padded envelope from Down Under!:yahoo:

I have no idea when it arrived, but apparently my wife (or kids) placed it on my desk and it fell down between the desk and the dresser! Sorry for making my Santa worried! :blush2:

when we moved some furniture around
& I found a 1925 penny wedged beside my desk and the filing cabinet

I had been looking for that coin for a couple of years!!

top gifts - very change over (ex the 1944!)

There was a program on TV some time ago where a gent in the USA dropped a valuable gold coin many years ago near a window on the upper storey of his house. He searched and searched for that coin to no avail.

Many years later the house was sold and the new owners decided to do some renovating or pull down the house, something like that.

Anyways, pulling out an old radiator from the wall and then the skirting board a valuable gold coin was found.

When the coin was dropped, it apparently decided to hide itself behind the skirting board and laid there for years until found.

Maybe someone else has heard of this story.

Lucky new owners.
