Trademe is good for us Aussies to buy (as long as seller has a suitable method for you to pay).
Now, if they added access to Australians to buy and sell in Australia, as well as New Zealand, I think they would do quite well. With the china my wife sells she frequently has sales to New Zealand. I bet most, maybe all, of those buyers have trademe accounts and are only on eBay for access to Australian sales.

I am not recommending you sell on trademe under the present conditions.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

agree Jeff
i would have loved to have used trademe more

I have used the service and no complaints... I work full time  and most times when I have to stay home or go to my PO Box to get registered  (and go during business hours). With click and collet,  I go there after hours and pick up my item... as for the security,  it is no different to getting  it delivered to your home or PO Box.
Collecting coins is not about having the best, but loving what you have ...

WHY SELLERS LOVE CLICK & COLLECT

"The credibility Click & Collect gives our store as well as allowing our customers to pick up outside business hours in many locations is a huge bonus for us. It's a feature that would normally not be a cost viable solution for small to medium businesses and only be possible for large retailers. It allows us to compete with the big guys!  Our suppliers have warmly accepted it too as it means more business for them, and in turn, that means the possibility of better wholesale pricing for us. Thanks eBay" - Paul Nieuwenhuys - Founder & CEO Hooked Online

"Click & Collect is easy to use and very convenient for buyers that want to pick-up after normal business hours. It's also a better option for registered parcels as your buyers don't have to go to a Post office" - Michael B - Sales Manager of Bit Deals

Click & Collect gives our customers exactly what they want - convenience & flexibility. It is a no brainer for sellers looking to grow their business on eBay." - Val - Boutique Retailer

Now what's your next trick after jumping thru all those hoops

Yep, They use the same carriage services. Delivery is the same except where you pick up your item is different. That's my understanding.

thanks Aus
i did notice that the lady collecting in target - also purchased 3 other items - so her 'pick-up' got her into the store

bit like the coloured coins with woolies

does the "customer" have a choice or is this going to be yet another thing they force on us.
