Have just seen on an auction site
A roll of 1981 50c coins with an estimate of $500 - $550
It states each coin has a catalogue value $35 per coin!
Sure enough,
on pp 150 of the last Maccas, it states each coin $35.00
On Ebay the same coins are selling for $1.90 up, nowhere near the $35

Even the Chuck & Die..., coins are selling for, a really good one $9.00.

Some one has put in a bid for this roll at $100 plus comish.

Something wrong somewhere there were 24 million minted

Pedro

The 83s & 84s perhaps with a question mark too. All three including the 1981 in UNC at $35.

Very little or no difference between UNC and choice UNC for 1981 & 1983 whereas other year's have more of a variation between the two.

Choice UNC for the 1984 is $20 but UNC is $35.

It sold for $130.00 plus commish

Someone is going to be pretty disappointed when they finally realise what these coins are actually worth. :(

What Renniks, Maca's or even Bluesheet values are listed as are very different to what the prices achieved are on any given day.
The "Book" values are "Retail" or what you could expect to pay for a coin from a Dealer, Not what the coin would sell for at auction :ok:

I paid $1000 for a roll of 1981 20 cent coins last year but they were the 3.5 claw variety
