The evening session is mid morning our time. I watched it at work. Actually I was in the middle of a meeting and I watched it on my phone. :P

Goldseeker

I don't think my arms are long enough to get to the bottom of pockets for any of them.....!

The 17.5 buyers premium is a killer.
I much prefer Numisbid or eBay because of the NO buyers fees :good:

Actually HA is pretty good. They display the bid price with BP, so you know what you would be paying. Plus you can change the currency displayed from USD to AUD as well. So it is more transparent than other auction sites.

There is also a 15% sellers fee per coin add the 17.5%  buyers premium and this mob takes 32.5% out of every sale.
They may be transparent but they are also pretty Greedy as well.

Many other auction houses do the same thing .

Compare the 10% sellers fee and NO buyers premium at Numisbid Which is actually cheaper than eBay fees.
When buying at auction I would much rather keep the 17.5% buyers fee in my pocket so that I can use it to buy coins instead of padding an auctioneers wallet :ok:

i agree with all statements so far BUT here in oz its a small market and HA and others have variety and grades of coins not readily available here. so i look and wait till my want/needed coin is listed then ponder :dodgy: do i pay  BP plus exchange rate gst etc ...
so far have sat on my hands :(
