Nevol

Some of you would have noticed a recent post 'Gone Missing' which is about another small Coin Forum that some of us belong to.  The Admin had let the Bi-yearly subscription lapse and left us all in the lurch.

Due to the generosity of a couple members, it was able to be resurrected, and now, this is the freaky part, said resurrection took place on 7 Sep 2015 which just happens to be the Birthday of this forum. So now each year, there are some of us who will be celebrating the Anniversary of 2 coin Forums.

For anyone interested in having a look at the other forum:

By the looks of the registration screen a referral by an existing member might expedite registration.

Both are now registered members.

Remember it's a very small forum at present, just 45 members.  It used to be 150-180, but each time the Admin let the subs lapse we lost a heap.  We have a new admin now, our very own Humpybong, so if there's any probs we can get onto it straight away.  It's basically a new forum as our tech guy had to start almost from scratch.

You'll recognize a few members from here, plus some from CCF.

Knights of the Coin Table was originally formed to supply a safe trading arena for world coin collectors.
I think we may have been the first to use the word "darkside", to refer to collectors of foreign coins.
(Don't have any firm proof of that though). Originally we were called "Ambassadors of the Darkside".

Why don't the 2 forums merge into a single stronger forum?

Coiny Chris

Hello,

Forums come and go, so a separate one is not a bad thing. It also means if 2 regulars have a big falling out they can keep away and not bring the whole lot down.

One is an Australian Forum and the other is a World Wide Forum based in USA but now controlled in Australia.

Both different forums and they compliment each other.
