Hi All,
I just received an email notification that the catalogue is avaialble on line for viewing.
Let the fun begin.

oh my florin

Yeah I received it too. Exciting maybe at the top end but not a lot else in the Pre decimals (excluding the 1935 Florin in PCGS MS65)

Not a lot of high end predec coins so will be interesting to see how they go.

I was eagerly awaiting to see what varieties they had to offer. Sadly nothing I was looking for.

It's my understanding that special care was taken to ensure that the orientation of the counterstamps lined up with the host coin. Lachlan Macquarie then put the coin aside and later brought it back with him to Scotland. Macquarie died not long after, and the coin ended up with the family referenced in the description.

oh my florin

Well that is something I didn't know. Interesting coin and very important piece of history.
