Aussie stranded in the Uk

[attachment=3096][attachment=3097]

I came across this medal / token and was wondering if anyone had seen it before and is able to provide more information.

It weights a hefty 55.50gms and is 52 mm across and 3.25mm thick. Seems to be made of a 'new' metal.

Thanks

Mark

Thanks. I had already made the association between the floor mosaic and quote and the design on one side of the token.
What I was hoping for was most information about it.
Because of its size and weight I am guessing that it was originally in a presentation box.

Why not drop a line to the Parliament House and ask them directly.
