want to learn about what coins were used, and what coins had the name on it, and how long were they in use, want to lean everything and anything

As far as I know there were 1/12 , 1/4, 1/2 and 1 Annas.
1/2 and 1 pice coins
1/4, 1/2 and one Rupee coins.

I also noticed that when the Brits went from calling the country East India Company to "India" they also called the Monarch Emperor as well as King/Queen.

I am still well and truly wet behind the ears with these coins but I am loving every minute learning about and collecting them  :yahoo:
