Spare 12 months?
Are you kidding.
My OCD and me would have that sorted in a month
and be hunting for the next pile.
Any one have a spare $900? LOL

Imagine the postage. Or would it come in a container?
How did they come up with the figure $899.00  ?

serial

actually postage wouldn't be that much I could get it transported for about $60 through Pack and send

He has been listing similar lots for some years. Proceeds of airport charity bin.
Not much good if you want older stuff but plenty of variety of current coins.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Too slow.
50 kg is only about 15,000 coins. With bulk modern coins (especially from airport donations which is mostly holiday change from only a few dozen countries) you can sort the bulk out very quickly unless you are looking for minor die errors.
In a day I'd have pulled out into piles all the spendable US, UK, NZ, Baht, Euro etc and the remaining couple of thousand coins (including possible numi keepers) would take another day  or two to sort.
Would all the high value and easy to cash coins be already cherrypicked?

"Free Postage" actually means "The Price Includes Postage". If I am interested in bidding on any eBay item I look at the total price, including postage to see if current bid price is within my limit.
