Fine silver proof set

Hi,

Has anyone heard whether the RAM intends producing a 2013 Fine Silver Proof set like they have produced every year since 2003?

It has usually been released by this time of the year.

hmm don't know, I would think the RAM would be doing one, its not in the next release, I know they have been busy with the new $2, and they had delays with the next Southern Skies Curved coin, so prob closer to the end of the year.

They will be but the coins will all be individually packaged and sold separately. Same with the gold set.

I saw them on the RAM website as 'coming soon' but yes, just in individual cases - not a set

Thanks all round. As it turns out, there will be a limited release of 500 full sets as well as the individual coin releases.
Just received a letter from Downies regarding this limited release.

Wish they included the 1 & 2 cent this year. The 2011 Silver Proof two coin sent was awesome!

So who's going to run out and buy a gold 5c on it's own? What sort of collector market are they trying to find? It's great if you are a 50c or dollar collector to just buy that denomination but I think the poor little 5c and 10c will be left out!
