Were you able to work out what coin the planchet was for, by weight and diameter?

The boogie board reference made me laugh.

Very nice Tane. I think I need more silver.

Now I need the popcorn munching emoji.

Same here. I have a bag full of Indonesian coins, so I have thought about giving them to someone who is heading that way. Just as well I didn't. (not that a bag full of their coins is worth much).

He had to enclose this letter with every batch of coins he sent to me...

I didn't know that, thanks for the info MMM.
I know it's against the law in India to take or send out coins more that 100 years old,
but wasn't aware of the law about taking or sending them back in.

Many years ago I used to trade with a guy named George in India.
I had to enclose this letter with every batch of coins I sent.

You would think the seller would at least offer free shipping.

Oz coins, hit the link at the top of this page, and head over and sign up.

Terry, I know there are a couple of other still kicking.

Take 2 at that price.

Haha see if you can negotiate a cheaper price.

Welcome aboard MMM. Good to see you here.

Wow, that's a nice set.

Yes, that is true Tane. 6 roos = 60 years of decimal currency.

P.S. just added a 2026 $2 to your pile.

Nice touch.

Very nice indeed. I only have one piece of maundy money, as far as I am aware.
