Quote from: 'nealeffendi' pid='128994' dateline='1705643217'It doesn't matter if Charles lives another 200 years as they will stop striking coins in the next decade. Everything will be digital with no coins or notes. Coins will join phone books, telephone cards and telegrams as nostalgia.

nealeffendi I think you might be right, unfortunately. I took my lady to the pictures and had to use my card to buy the tickets and two days ago we went to the zoo and the same thing, card only. Couldn't even buy a bloody fridge magnet without using my card. I always thought that cash was king but now it's getting to be useless. Not happy Jan! :dash1:

Thanks Jen and Mr T. It's amazing how after so many tries all of a sudden it pays off. I guess some of the big noodlers have decided there's not enough money in it for them.

Just when I was again thinking noodling is turning into a waste of time I stopped at my local P.O and scored, 1 x 2022 "75th Anniversary of Peacekeeping"; 1 x Wiggles "Henry the Octopus"; 1 x "2020 Aust. Paralympic Team Set to Soar"; 1 x "Australian Olympic Team Dedication" and "S and letter A 2022 Commonwealth Games Team" as well as 7 x 2021 "DD's" and 1 x 2020 "DD". I will probably return the DD's to circulation.

I am really *issed off with the RAM. After all the being stuffed around by the mint, waiting in queues, making hundreds of phone calls,
and with the hours involved and after the ballot. And still winding up with nothing, what a complete waste of my and many others time and efforts. Thanks a lot you (expletive deleted). :@ :dash1:
