Title: Oodle Noodle
Post by: MattGold on May 07, 2013, 07:26:30 PM
Had a noodle through $100 of 20c and $100 of 10c today.
Will put more pics up of the other coins I come across today today, CUDs, laminate crack, light strike/missing number...

But here is a couple of 20 cents from today..

I will get the hang of posting decent images one day

Stamped one is 1966 as you can see and the other is 2005....

I wouldn't think so.  I don't have one!

But in 2008, yes, quite a few are in my clutches. :yahoo:

Oops, wrong year, I should have said 2007! I must have had a brain snap last night.

I can show you the 2007 type. All the same, prolly just a filled die I guess.

Here's a couple of my 2007 ones.  I found 6 of mine, should have a heap more though, all 6 are on 'narrow 7' coins. Left claw practically missing.

Why do you think it's PMD?

I need a decent magnifier for better pics

It is PMD. Someone has used a punch to put the 1 on the coin.

I have found two punched coins like that and I know others have found plenty. One of the ones I have says 'The A Team'. Maybe it was some sort of keepsake that soon got spent.

hi Kel
I think that your $2 is a very rare find with a rare rim error and you should list it on ebay say for about $500

LOL! Nope. :)

Can't say I've ever seen one of these "skeleton" claws before. Probably wasn't looking carefully enough. And yeah, it seems like a fill from those pics.
