I hadn't realised how important these threads were but I have used them to search for facts before RAM annual reports have been released.
It's also saved me money when to add to my collection I need not cut up a mint set but could obtain a quality coin from a security roll.
To have members post that they received a xx denomination in xx state is proof enough they've been issued for circulation.
The only 2011 coins I have seen so far are: $1 CHOGM, 50¢ coat of arms, 20¢ platypus and 20¢ Intl Womens Day.
2011 50c are out and about. I've got heaps if anyone wants a few, all from Security Bags, not rolls. :icon_e_smile:
Most have very faint traces of D.Clash on HM's nose.
I have quite a lot of 2011 20¢ and 50¢ UNC from security bags. Anyone want any?

I've seen plenty of 5c, no 10c, plenty of Women's day 20c, a few Volunteers 20c, 2 Will and Kate 20c, no platypus 20c, a few 50c, plenty of CHOGM $1 and no $2.
I snagged $200 of Volunteer 20s from the Nab in Yass. That was some months ago.
Just returned home from shopping, checked my change and found a 2011 10c, so that's one more denomination that should soon start to appear in numbers.

So the $2 is the only 11 coin that has'nt appeared yet,might be worth getting a couple extra 2011 mint sets.

It couldn't hurt to wait a bit though. I think the next RAM annual report will be published in November, and it should have information about whether any 2011 $2 coins have been made so far.
I found a 2011 10c today.
And I've since found a 2011 platypus 20c.
I can't remember if I've found any 2011 20c P'pus or not. :shok:

Just working on this list.. and as far as I can tell they only minted 1,750,000 2011 10¢. Surely that can't possibly be right? nearly 105 mil 2010, and already nearly 25 mil 2012.
Another boo-boo in the paperwork, or one of the rarest coins in recent times?

The 2011 10 cent is most defiantly a low mintage coin as far as I know :ok:

Yep, they are BHTF! Right along with the 2011 $2. I reckon the RAM must have a stash of them somewhere that they've forgotten about, or are labelled incorrectly.
