Oh I'm sorry; a bloke from Belgium's first post on a Purely Aussie site is all about promoting his site selling Persian coins.:dodgy:

Oh dear, this must be vital information for us Aussies and can’t be construed as “Spam”

I don't have a problem with members posting links to thier websites or ebay listings, But not with their very first post.
I notice that you have also done this on CCF and god only knows how many other sites you have "Googled" up and done the same thing.
If you had come into the forum with the genuine intention of becoming part of our discussions and adding to the knowlage of other members.
But NO, first post self advertising without making a single contribution to the disscussions on the forum is SPAM to me :ok:

Oh dear oh dear, looks like CCF have removed your spam from their site old mate :good:

I admit a first post like this on a forum is not the best way to start. Only doing my job. And yes, I had the same post on several other forums as well. I did not had the intention to spam, but it sure looks that way. True. I was only trying to reach as much collectors as possible for these Persian and Islamic coins...
I apologize. I will make it up in next posts. No (more) spam from this guy... Fair ?

I am a very humble coin collector, not a money collector. So many people on coin sites are marketers trying to make a profit.

So Rudi old mate , what are your coin interests and how can I help you out with that?
If it isnt Aus,Brit,Canadian or US then I will be of no use to you.
But there are plenty of others on this site that are guru's as far as world coins go:yahoo:

I'm an avid collector of ancient Roman coins for 39 years now...
I got a massive 6000+ library.
Dealer on all major Coin Fairs in Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg and the UK.
Working as numismatist for NumisMall. And I maintain 2 online stores.
No much going on between us old mate, except I got family living & working in Perth :yahoo: -hence my link to Aussieland :p

It's funny to talk about anciants because a lot of us here are in that age group :laugh2:

Working as numismatist for NumisMall. And I maintain 2 online stores.
Although there are a few Professional Numismatists on this site most of us are amateurs with passion.
The pros tend to keep us in line tho.
Sounds like you have a dream job and have a passion for it, good on ya.
Maybe we can convert you to the joys of collecting Aussie coins :good:
