We do not appear to have any authority to....

delete an inappropriate post
or anything else.
We appear to be a moderator in name only.....a moderator with no teeth.........therefore are we really needed.........?
I for one feel I am wasting my time checking posts.
Sorry Barry, we all still have our training wheels on here. I assumed that moderators would have a default set of permissions over and above that of normal users. Turns out this wasn't the case. I've gone ahead and setup moderators (you and SAP) as having full permissions on all the forums here. I am not entirely sure what that means but I guess you should be able to see some new tools you couldn't see before.

I wasn't going to complain, since so far I hadn't really missed not being able to directly act on threads needing moderation... at least, not until Nancy posted an Australian medal in the World Medals section. :tease:
