Nevol notified me that some people were not receiving emails or email PM notifications from the Forum. I spent a few hours on the weekend looking into this. There were a couple of server issues I fixed up that might see a few more emails get through.
However, after perusing the server logs it looks like some user's email services are rejecting forum emails because they are not digitally signed. Forum emails are not digitally signed because this forum does not have a proper email server/service but rather uses the PHP mail() function to send emails. A proper email service for this forum would cost $10-$15 per month plus the best part of a Sunday to set it all up properly. At this point I'm not really interested in shelling out any more $$ on the forum just for the sake of email notifications.
For now you'll just have to log back into the forum periodically to check for PM's and so on. Alternatively you could use a different email address for the forum. Gmail emails seem to be getting through OK for example.
I am sorry for this but if you want to get cross at someone then get cross at spammers as these increased email rejection rates are due almost solely to the amount of spam flooding emails these days.
Odd that GMail is okay - starting this month they and Yahoo started clamping down on unsigned emails.
Having had to make a couple of sites compliant, I can sympathise with not wanting to make it work.

I agree about spam. I am being absolutely bombed with American crap spam, mainly something called "Camp leJeune" which was some American daycamp where people drank bad water and sued the company that paid out millions.
I also get heaps of gaming spam - always crap like "You ARE instant Millionaire" "Congrats you WONE 1millione etc" always changing spellings to get around filter. All because I looked up the local casino once.
Also I am getting the "Shein giftbox" and wearning emails saying my Netflix payment was declined. I don't have a Netflix account. Yahoo and Gmail of course. I don't think a quality email server exists for free. They all say they reduce spam and try their best, but spam is winning.
The only ones I don't get are fake Viagra and Nigerian scam emails like "My name is Bless Omokoreke Mbongo and I have 10 billyan dollars to give you".
I reckon if they charge 10c to send each email, most people would be pleased to pay for emails they want and spammers would stop as they could not pay for each of the 10s of million spams they send.
Tane, my best friend here in Australia, is an ex USA Marine who was stationed at Camp LeJeune. His bladder has now been removed and he has to insert a catheter every time he want's to take a wee, so believe me it is no joke. He and other Marines and their families have fought for years to get compensation from the U.S. government. Soon he may also have to go on kidney dialysis. He is one of the lucky ones, many have died already, and in fact he didn't expect to last this long.
