Thanks Jen, I didn't think I was keen on any of those. How are they going to handle the FIFA dollars through Aust Post outlets?
I can see another debacle coming.
I seen somewhere that it is supposed to be Aust post online store to order the coins.
NewsXpress stores are hit and miss as not all stores participate. I found that out with the 2021 $1 Donation Coins issued by the RAM in bags last year.

I didn't even know RAM issued them in bags.

Mister T the following coin is not circulating
FIFA Women's World Cup 2023
2023 $1 Coloured Uncirculated Coin
RRP: $15.00 | Mintage: 20,000
but Woolworths have 4 a $1 FIFA coins for circulation & 3 x $2 FIFA coins for circulation
Ah that's where I was getting confused.
Fuck the Royal Australian Mint.
Seriously, they couldn't be more incompetent if they tried.
Stood outside the Sydney GPO in the cold wind until they opened. I was first in line.
Go in, and the idiot I unfortunately got served by spent 2 mins trying to understand what the printed sheet I had with the coins on it meant. She walked around the store in a confused state.
Eventually spoke to one person, then another ... who was selling the ONLY coin set they had to another customer.
The highest profile post office in Australia, and one set of coins will cover it.
So well done Mint and Australia Post.
A real bunch of fuckwits.

That is pretty poor. The dealers sites I looked at had no stock (left) of the FIFA coins. Fortunately for me I didn't really care.
It seems it is all just a mad rush for the speculators these days.
I had suggested to RAM that they implement a model of Standing Orders, whereby you subscribe to a particular channel - like $2 coins, and receive them automatically (1 only maybe if you want to take the postage hit).
This still seems like a foreign concept to them, while they still cannot get their head or processes around bots, but I get that they are Public Servants and are not paid to think outside the square.
I'd be happy to set up a standing order with RAM if we could get them to post say every three months or even two months. I don't want to be paying $10 plus for postage on every damned release. Especially when some months they have multiple releases only days apart. FFS I wish they were more organized. Surely it can't be that hard.
And don't call me Shirley.
