Title: New UK coins
Post by: Triggersmob on October 03, 2022, 10:22:45 PM
Just for giggles I thought I would log on to the Royal Mint website to check out the new CRIII coins.
I was 38911th in queue. The basic 50p was 11 pounds and the 5 pound coin was 14.50 pounds.
You can get a nice proof gold coins for over 13000 pounds.

glad I don't collect UK coins, that is for sure. Or US coins apart from Morgan dollars.
It is hard enough keeping up with our issues.

I did the same and I was 66100.

Speaking of gold coins.
How about the ''10oz Gold Proof Coin, Limited Edition 100 pieces. Neat price tag of £29,405.00. And apparently sold out! :swoon:

£11 for a 50p is an utterly ridiculous price. At least this coin is supposed to be made for circulation and scheduled for release in December 2022.

The 50p is being sold on other web sites for £4.95.
