Of course, I need to have the $2 coins. The $1 not so much.
Good luck hunting them down.
What sort of notice do we have on this sort of thing? I only heard about it on the weekend which I thought was a bit late.

Getting 2 sets for you Ralf. :)
Went to 3 Woolies today and bought 5 x $15 folders but no Woolies had any loose coins yet.

Thanks. :thank_you:
Likewise no single coins available so purchased the pack.
Single coins were available at our Woolworths.
I didn't have to do individual orders to get the coins either.
The lady let me get what I needed in one shop.
My daughter got 10 sets for me. :)
My local had no sets at all yesterday. I got a friend to get me some.
I don't do sports coins so I won't bother but I might get a set for my aged mother because she will like them.
Has anyone else noticed that the "U" in the "A; U; S" set seems to be the hardest to find in change? :dodgy:
I have gotten two of the three in change. The A and the U. No S so far.Not that I am particularly worried.
Question: Are those Dinosaur $1 coins sold via Woolworth or Aussie Post?
Redlock, they are from Auspost.

Thanks for the information.
Are they intended for actual circulation?
Keeping up with all the stuff the RAM throws out I find it difficult to keep up...

Thank heaven they aren't as bad as Australia post (yet). How many collectors are going to stop if they stop issuing coins for circulation? I probably would.
As Fred Lever (https://www.australian-coins.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=1203) said recently "The Mint is just producing tokens.".
So after not having an "S" I now have 5 of them. I'll decide which is the best and keep that.

I don't think so. I'm not sure if you can buy the individually either.
They may only be available as a set, and of course I will get 2 sets for you.
The 4 plain coins without mintmarks are for circulation thru the month of September.
They are intended to collect a different coin in your change each week.
Thanks for the info Jen. :)

Was this announced somewhere and I missed it?
In the latest Australia Post bulletin.

Ah thanks - I thought I'd seen something about dinosaur coins in a recent email from the RAM but I didn't think it had mentioned circulating coins.
