Title: 2022 unc coin set
Post by: gabby on November 12, 2021, 03:57:10 PM
Just received mine in the mail

I like the way it's done now in the sealed plastic and not the cardboard

Well presented

There have been some attractive cardboard mint set sleeves but I must admit I like the plastic sealed sets.

I'm hoping they are using good quality plastics that won't affect the coins over long duration.

Would love to but not up with all that

They are done similar to the way the proof were done in the 70's

I think a bit more protection

It's a pity the proof sets are being shipped in cardboard takeaway food containers

Do we know if the Front Line Workers coin is going to be released into circulation? I hope so.

My guess is yes, otherwise it wouldn't be part of the Unc Annual set.

The RAM seem to have gotten into the habit of including coloured and/or specifically designed coins in annual mint sets that they haven't released into circulation so I'm leaning towards the Front Line Workers $2 not going into circulation. It hasn't taken long for people to start breaking up the 2022 set to sell the individual FLW $2 on Ebay.

The special commemorative coins in the UNC annual set are not usually released into circulation.
