Title: commit to buy on ebay
Post by: Mister T on August 08, 2021, 10:03:52 AM
I remember I used to be able to commit to buy multiple coins then request a total but I haven't been able to do this for a while now. Is it something that ebay no longer does or are sellers required to do something to enable it?

Are you referring to the "Add to cart" function?

I sell lots of items on ebay and only about half the buyers can request a total and the other half have to
buy each item separately and there is no rhyme or reason as to why.It just seems random and there
doesnt seem to be a solution as ebay isnt interested in trivial matters like this

I tried adding to cart last time I bought multiple items but it made me pay the shipping on all four items.
I definitely remember the feature but for the life of me I can't see it any more - ebay forces me into paying as soon I click anything related to payment.

Maybe you can send the seller a message of the items that you are after and they make a listing with all the items in 1 order.

Yes,they are too greedy, when buying on Ebay USA or UK there is no multiple shipping anymore,or at least i can't find a way around it,when you add GST into the equation its not worth the trouble.

eBag isn't interested, period.
I'm waiting on 4 banknotes. The seller is either
a) ignorant
b) illiterate
c) a scammer
Has not replied to multiple requests for a combined postage or a response. Eventually I just told him I'll pay you for two lots of postage which is more than an express post satchel and did that.
Still waiting to see any items turn up.
