Title: 2021 Baby Mint Sets
Post by: Goldseeker on December 09, 2020, 02:24:01 PM
The RAM has changed its packaging for the 2021 Baby Mint Set of coins.

Sealed like the normal Proof sets which means no one can get the medallion engraved unless the sealed package gets broken.

Here, have a look:

Odd - the back of the medallion is still blank then?

I have to say I LOVE these plushy design coins, the dollar, the 20 cent and the 5 cent. I wish they would release these into circulation. I don't usually buy the baby set except as gifts for newborns, but loved these so much I bought a proof set and two uncirculated sets for myself.

You can easily open these new types of sets without breaking them. They are made up of 2 halves that are just pressed together. If you carefully slide your thumbnail between the 2 halves they just slide apart. They press back together just as easily.

Exactly they are not sealed like proof sets and the 2021 4 coin 100 yrs of Air Force is exactly the same
The plastic is not Chinese, UK sourced so no problem with toning
