Title: 2014 Western Front 50c Coin
Post by: Goldseeker on April 28, 2020, 05:07:30 PM
Why oh why is the price of this carded $0.50c piece, the coin with the red poppy on it, so high?

Ebay has it at $90.00 + whereas on another coin site, the asking price is $120.00.

Has me perplexed.

Can't explain that at all Goldie. The price has just taken off almost overnight on Ebay.

I bought one off ebay at $55 2 weeks ago....this was the cheapest of 3 listed at the time......I needed another 2 days ago and they were well over $100.00. The other 2 released at the same time are not near $100.00

Finding increases like this happening a lot of late.

Yes, that was the thing I found odd that the prices for similar issues had moved very little. There were a few sales where an Ebay seller pointed to an error on the Western Front coin but no other sellers have made like claims and yet have sold for far higher amounts. A mystery.
