Title: 1961 Shilling - Die Polish Lines?
Post by: Unicorn on February 29, 2020, 04:43:34 PM
I'm hoping someone might have a couple of 1961 shillings to check to see if I'm correct or not.

It's not in Renniks Varieties, but then again, you can't list them all eh.

On the obverse of the following there appears to be DPL in 3 places.

Rim almost to the A in REGINA
Rim to and partially into the D in F:D
In the lower sections of LIZ of ELIZABETH

I've tried to "feel" them with a toothpick and they appear to be raised, so if that be the case then there should be more than one example in existence.

Here's some pics!!!
