Title: Condolences
Post by: Goldseeker on July 03, 2019, 05:19:28 PM
One of our members, Caivel, passed away peacefully last night after suffering a long illness.

He is survived by his wife, Christine and two daughters.

He was a gentleman who had vast knowledge of coins and had accummalated a vast decimal collection that included many varieties.

For instance, he had 14 proof sets of the 2004 Comming Alive issue that had all the various varieties known.

I and the coin community has lost a knowledgeable man and a true friend.

Rest In Peace, Caird, you will be missed.

That is such sad news Goldie.  :-/

I had quite a lot of dealings with him and thought he must have taken ill as he had been quiet for quite a while. He had such a great love for errors and varieties.

Please pass on my condolences to his family if you are talking to them Goldie.

RIP my friend.
