So that makes it $2,503.75. Plus, better get insurance for full value -that's another $36. Maybe (s)he might accept an offer to do the postage for free. :ok:
Do you have that spare change? If so, go for it.
And, if you decide you don't really like it you can always send it to me! :swoon:
Jeff
I reckon heads should roll at the mint, too many errors are getting passed the quality control lol .......... :bye2: best if belly runs away from the error collectors
quality controller :beach:
Am I correct in guessing our RAM minted these?
Hello PPH , I think it might have been the Royal Canadian Mint , But i might be guessing too lol
Here's one that got passed in not to long ago http://www.noble.com.au/auctions/lot/?id=291382
I have seen on the RAM annual reports that NZ 2002 and 2003 mint sets are made here but I don't have the earlier report info for 2000.

I think that's only for circulation coins, not for sets.
http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=7139&whichpage=1 says it was struck at the Valcambi Mint in Switzerland.
If there are mint errors, they're bound to be coming from our RAM...it just seems that either their quality control is literally Chubb Security or they are just having fun putting huge amounts of random errors out to F$$$ with collectors.
