Good day everyone.
So, I am building a coin reference site and have a rather extensive Australian section at https://onlinecoin.club/Coins/Country/Australia/ (https://onlinecoin.club/Coins/Country/Australia/)
But... I find it hard to find good quality photos of decimal coins. Pre-decimal - plenty, no worries. But decimal - virtually nothing.
The question to you guys is then - can someone help me out with photos that are good quality, on white background, at least 800 pixels wide and with a copyright that permits me to put them on the site?
To Pavka.
I'm happy to send you a copy of my personal spreadsheet file illustrating all decimal circulation-type coins to date. It excludes precious metal, proof, error and subtle varieties, and the illustrations are pasted to the spreadsheets but removable. They are all on a white background. As far as copyright goes, most are from the RAM directly. I have been given permission to use them (up to 2017 so far) in a publication, so I guess you could use them on a noncommercial website. I would not want any acknowledgement of attribution.

I am afraid they will classify the site as commercial, because it has advertising :-(
I guess it depends on which quality you want. I could easily take photos of banged-up ones from circulation, but I don't have many uncirculated ones in my possession.

I don't much care about circulated/uncirculated. I even think that circulated coins look more realistic in the context that I need them (namely, to illustrate what a collector can realistically hope to get).
For pre-decimal coins I have used many photos from Museums Victoria, who have inherited the collection of the Melbourne Mint and have released many photos under a Creative Commons licence. But... As a collector, I would be frustrated to get an ordinary coin after looking at a shiny proof from their collection.

The most obvious place for photos of any coin is PCGS https://www.pcgs.com/pop/australiancoins
But I don't know what the terms and conditions are.

Thanks, but it seems to be copyrighted. I'll email them and ask for permission though.
