Title: Compulsory Third Party insurance refunds, NSW
Post by: JeffH on March 27, 2018, 07:06:09 AM
If you live in NSW and have a motor vehicle registered in your name you are probably entitled to a refund on your last premium(s). Claim a CTP Green Slip refund (https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/claim-ctp-green-slip-refund)
You must claim the refund, it will not be automatic.
I wonder who gets to keep all the unclaimed refunds? Rhetorical question; do not answer, I have a fair idea.

Hasn't had much publicity so a fair few of the more than 4.2 million eligible people won't be aware of their entitlement. Bad luck for those without an internet connection as it appears claims can only be made online.

Yeah,i saw that, but mine was claimed late Wed. last week and turned up Sat. in my acct. so went thru. Friday Night.
They had a banner up you could only claim outside office hours as punters were overloading/clogging up the Computers, not sure if that restriction is still there.

I can't believe you can only do an online claim after hours.

Something strange about that.

Well, when green slips are over $600, I'm sure they aren't doing too badly.
