Why would anyone fake these?
Also he has other fakes listed up.
The polished looking 1934 florin is also a fake.

I report these sorts of things all the time Bruce, Not sure that it is doing much good because these sort of listings just keep on coming back :dash1:
At least I am trying :ok:
Thanks for that.
I just might have a go at reporting it as well.
Maybe the more reports received the better.
How does one tell if either of the coins is fake?

All you have to do is have a close look at them, after a while you will see parts of the coin that just don't "Look Right" eg the grass on the reverse of the 1934 Florin, have you seen that on any genuine coin?
Collectors like Walter and others of his calibre can spot these pretty much from the other side of the room But for us "Plebs" it takes us a bit longer and we have to look harder.
With these coins being common dates they tend to go under the radar But they do sell for reasonable prices being "Uncirculated" so it's not a bad little earner for the slime bags that flog these.
It looks like the counterfeiters are getting more sophisticated targeting common dates but in the higher grades that collectors are now chasing for their collections and set registries :dash1:
Sorry about the long winded answer Bruce But these Buggers really P*** Me off Mate :ok:
Reported the grub and sent a few nastygrams
