Has anybody ever won anything from
HERITAGE auctions?
How did you get coin/s back to Australia?

I've had no problems buying from Heritage.
Better than Nobles.
Just be aware of the fees.
And dont forget about import duty.

Thanks, echidna but how did you get coins back to Australia or do Heritage arrange it for you?

You just pay for postage and handling and Heritage sends it.
Nothing special.
Also note: you can pay using Paypal if it's under $10k. Over $10k you have to wire the funds to their account.
Shipping is by UPS. It will come in a great big box with a tiny box inside with your coin in it even if you get just the one.
As echidna said - 10% extra import duty if total is over $1k. UPS will hold it until you paid that. Some UPS person will call you to ransom your treasure back.
I like them. Very professional. And the online auction is fun to watch. They had a top pop 1930 penny last year and a Type I Adelaide Pound sold for just under $100k USD.
I seem to remember trout making several posts about import problems and costs.

UPS or the Customs people?
Might be worth reading this article (http://www.smh.com.au/money/tax/the-300m-gst-grab-hardly-anyone-knows-about-20170407-gvgcfb.html) about costs associated with import purchases. Looks like the future will not be so rosy!
That "Harvy Normon" Tax really sucks.
That will mean that soon each and every returning Submission to NGC/PCGS will be held for Ransome by Customs and not only will you be paying GST But there are also various other "Fees" that Customs add to the bill.
Then there is all the annoying associated paperwork and forms to fill out Not to mention the extra month or so you will have to wait for your coins to finally arrive.
I paid 2 day shipping on some engine parts for a rebuild I needed to get done right away.
Didn't hear anything ... no amount of searching could see where it went. The sender lost visibility at Customs Australia.
3 weeks later I get a posted letter from Customs advising that duty needed to be paid, and I had to organise a customs broker to do it.
I then needed to ring around, find a customs broker, pay the duty (plus duty on delivery and their handling costs), then wait 5 days till they shipped it.
The extra couple hundred dollars in express shipping amounted to nothing (Even though it arrived in Australia in something ridiculous like 18 hours after ordering).
The whole setup is absolutely broken. I am happy to pay GST, but just make the process smooth.
Fedex do a great job when it comes to paying duty.

My personal experience was UPS will call you and you pay them. So they paid customs on your behalf. It was relatively painless.
Just be on the lookout for private number calls to your mobile.
