Can anyone confirm whether this is what Renniks refers to as the - Dot On Top Of Star? (second image is circled)

Will have a squiz and see what I've got there , Uni. Maybe a day or so.
Thanks G! :good:
Mine has a dot in between the top part of the star and the leg of the star to the left. Borrowed your pic and marked the area until I can get a pic done.:)

It certainly does Robster! Thanks heaps for that. :good:
Does anyone have any thoughts on my blob? It looks like a cud to me but surely there would be more around if that be the case.
I noticed my coin has a dot after 'Sixpence'. also noted in Renniks as (scarce).
Cool Robster! I missed that ..... was too busy looking at the star cud!
Thanks Robster, I didn't have any pics available, :) think I have one with the dot after as well.

Having lots of trouble getting decent pics as my desk lamp chucked a fizzy fit.
Yes, trouble all round today! Photobucket is having a hissyfit, my white balance is all wrong, my lighting is also on the 'fritz'. Spooky
:scratch_one-s_head: so what one is the better one to have, serif or non serif.
If your an outlaw , No Sheriff, :)
:mafia: we don't need no Sheriff (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRgcwT9X2J8) around here G :big_boss:
Gee, that poor sheriff must look like a colander now. Several people have shot him, including Bob Marley (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t8l92DharY), Ziggie marley, Screamin' Jay Hawkins (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpFw-tI_JpI), Stevie Wonder and plenty of others. (I don't think Stevie Wonder would have actually pinged him, unless it was at point blank range.)
Hey Robster, any chance of a close up of the Die crack through F.D. IND.
It looks very much (to me) like it's a lam.

Renniks varieties has the no serif listed (as common), which makes sense as the 1925 / 1927's etc have the serif, so the non is the variety.
My numbers for 1926 are Non-Serif=18 and Serif=5 so to me the serif is less common. (Not a big sample size though).

I think your wrong Jeff and Stevie wouldn't have had a problem because the sheriff would have had spurs on so he would have made a noise, something like the cat in this skit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJnKDFt7vT8  :mocking:

Thanks Uni, I only have one and it doesn't have the serif :(
