I have just found out that the Brisbane Ecka Show is currently on.
The RAM will be in attendance but no mention of the portable press.
Has anyone from the forum attended the show or is planning to attend the show?
If so, can they report that the portable press is there or the RAM is selling a Privy Marked coin in the folder at this show please.

I normally go along and have in the past offered to pick up MYO's for forum members but this year decided to stay away. I have it on good authority that the portable press is there again this year, but intend sourcing my coins from VP coins as it's cheaper than admission to the show.

I don't think that will be the Portable Press and I reckon the coins will be pre-stamped ones.
I haven't been to the Ekka since about 1976. At least one always came away quite sick with the flavour-of-the-month bug, and it always took ages to shake off.
Portable press was there and $5 ea not bad value and same price as Sydney Royal Easter Show
