Title: European laws on collecting culturally sensitive items
Post by: autocoupler on June 28, 2016, 04:31:08 PM
Thought this may be of interest to some. I received this from a guy whom I purchased a proclamation coin from a few years ago, but don't know him personally from a bar of soap. One interesting piece of info I found somewhere in the site is that 7 million Germans collect coins, so if we translate that to a similar percentage for Australia, you could say 3 million Aussies collect coins which sounds a lot. The first little bit is in German, but the English translation is further down.

Dear collector,

may I ask you for your support in gaining more signatures for our petition (ending soon)?

https://www.openpetition.de/petition/online/fuer-den-erhalt-des-privaten-sammelns

Please make sure all your friends an relatives sign as well. Let them know that it is also possible to sign anonymously.

It would be great if we could reach 50.000!

Sincerely Yours

Dr. Hubert Lanz
