There is one item that I have placed a proxy bid on and will see how that goes :ok:
I'm bidding on two coins and watching two others.

I wish you well with your bids and hope you are successful Mate :)
Thanks, I was looking at the same type of coin in two consecutive lots. I won the first one at a very good price. Then I thought I was going to end up with both but someone made a live bid and I let it go. Another coin had a minimum bid more tan 50% above the blue sheet yet someone bid on it. I thought the pace was quicker than NumisBid.

This is my first time I have actually looked in on one of their live actions.
It is pretty "rapid Fire", I much prefer the sedate and easy pace of the Numisbid Auctions.
It gives you time to think before you bid :good:
Rapid fire is right - a lot of coins got no live bids.
It sure is quick!!! Sometime I see no bid and no "Last Call" warning then after 2 seconds - BAM! We are off to the next lot! :O
Did you win the Canberra Florin Mr Trout? :)
I persevered and got a gorgeous Canberra florin in MS65 for $550 + $82.50 buyers fee and a 1927 Florin in MS62 for $220 + $33 buyers fee.
Pretty happy with this, but I do feel bad for whoever consigned these coins.
Here are the PCGS true view images.
What did you get r9453 ?

I don't know why you need a new direction trout, with coins like these the way ahead is clear.
All I got was a 1956Y penny for $30 + extras. I could not see the certificate number so I can't look it up but it will do for my budget QEII penny set:

I just received and have paid my invoice for last nights auction $897.50.
At that price I got the MS62 1927 Florin free , The toned Canberra is worth every bit of $900 on its own :yahoo::dance2::yahoo:

$550 + vig is a very reasonable price to pay for a Canberra florin of this calibre as far as I am concerned :)
I won the 1911 and 1912 threepence in MS66. They should fit nicely in my registry set.

If AP has lifted its game I should get mine in a couple of weeks :laugh2:
I did pick up a PCGS submission that was posted from the States on the same day 3/17/2016, That's 5 days from the other side of the World :good:
:scratch_one-s_head: Gee I didn't realise we now have 17 months in a year  :laugh2:
:laugh2: .... On ya AJ! .... Wait 'til he goes full military on us and it's 2016/03/17 ...... Gee the seasons will be taking their time then, but yet the years will fly by, followed by a .....oops ..... blackhole inbound ..... and back to 01!
Gotta keep him on his toes mate, he's a sly old fox that's for sure :winkextra:
An ex US marine who now lives near me told me that they use DD/MM/YYYY format for dates and 24 hour time (HH:MM) so he never had a problem when he came to Oz. Now has to think about it when he sees a US format date.
He hasn't fully integrated -will accept a red wine in preference to a cold beer. But, that's fine by me as long as he leaves me some.
Come on Guy's.
This is the way the Yanks do their dates
I got mine on Monday... Takes about 3 days to get to Sydney ..
