After looking at some of these on ebay the signature of Ross MacDiarmid looks a bit suss to me.
Does anybody have anything else signed by him to know if it is genuine or not.
These listings are the suss ones I am thinking.

Definitely a fraudulent signature it is not Ross MacDiarmid
This seller needs reporting directly to Ross himself ross.macdiarmid@ramint.gov.au for fraud which I have already done
Wouldn't mind his T-shirt as well
I did try for a tshirt no go :(
P'S be careful with fraudulent signature claims. One of those sellers had other items for sale where the signature looks right. And being an ACT seller he may very well have been there getting them off Ross
I bought a couple of the open day coins from eBay and they arrived today, Not signed of course
They do look rather nice But not keen on the blister type packaging though I would suspect that the gold plating should help to prevent any toning issues :ok:

That may be so however having a genuine signature for comparison could tempt replication :dodgy:
To me the mint packaging signed or not is irrelevant , Its the coin within the packaging that is important. :ok:
These Gold plated 50 cent coins are rather nice and it looks like RAM have taken a lot of care in the minting process and the packaging of this particular coin so that we collectors can add a pretty much flawless coin to our collections. :good:
Here is one of mine :)

Ross has responded to myself and thinks the signature is his so that's the end of the OP question
gee mate
do you live in a granny flat at the back of his place?
you seem to have easy access to this gentleman
