1926 "Manders".
I'd rate these as the scarcest date in the series.
Also there appears to be variations in the shape of the star and roo on some dates:

A theme after my own heart. Is that last 1927 a recent acquisition.? This is from the Late Peter Wall's collection.

Nice example Gnome.
The last one in my pics was bought in 2008 at ANDA Perth.
would pcgs pick them up as counterfeits?

I reckon they would not pick up one of the more convincing ones.
The early strikes like the 26 above and the second 27 were better and hard to pick from genuine.
Nice. Is the last one just yellow because of the lighting?

Thats right.
It has orange peel surfaces and was hard to photo.
they stopped by 1931 didn't they?
It's taking me abit to get my posts sorted again. My applologies.
Thanks echidna, there was one, an ex Triton's that was for sale in the last Noble's auction that went for a pretty penny.

Obverse of the last 27 above.
That is amazing. I'd be surprised if that's not the best grade Manders in existence. How rare do you think the 1931 is? I've only ever seen one.

Its by far the best one I've seen.
Also of interest is the fact that the obverse is beaded whereas all the other examples I've seen have denticles.
Re the 1931 - I'd rate 1926 much harder.
In thirty years I've seen about ten 1931s vs four 1926s.

Have a picture of the obverse of your 1926?

No.
However I be able to do some proper pics when I can access it next month.
Will post the pics then.
