Title: Selling Unc or Mint Set coins
Post by: lacey on September 11, 2012, 10:26:41 AM
Considering an awful lot of Mint Set coins have marks on them, would it make any difference to you if you bought one of these coins and it had such marks?

I have a few I wish to sell, as I have too many to make any sense keeping them but, a few have these marks on them and I don't wish any bad f'back from buyers.  All the coins I have are either Mint Set or from rolls.

If you show pics people can make there own minds up about the coins, and can’t complain. I see no problem with selling them.
I have bought a circulated 1992 50c, just because I didn’t have one, and I didn’t care what condition it was in, if you have hard years they sell themselves.
I have also bought mint set coins that have been broken up and they weren’t put in 2x2’s, alas they turned a slight yellowish colour from being exposed to air, but still nice coins.

Hi Lacey.
Photograph them well and describe them accurately and all will be well.
If there are any problems with the coins let the buyers know and your reputation will remain intact.

Try to grab some uncirculated security bags -they are mostly replacing rolls now- Then you will see some marks.
In comparison, your coins will be very good.:yahoo:
