I actually like these

Yeah so do I.
They should be exciting to find in change.
Yep, have to agree very appealing to the eye.
Further, I can see that when the coins start to be circulated, thet they will be hoarded.
I think the RAM has done a brilliant job on these coins.

Yeah, but with these and the RM Sovs, is a new trend starting of commemorative obverses? Not so sure I like that concept much, TBH.
Are these going to be minted for circulation as well, or are these just available in the mint and proof sets ??
To the best of my knowledge, mint set coins are the same as circulating coins of the future except some of the coloured $1 and 50c coins.
Another exception is the 2015 50c that is circulating at the present. A COA instead of the anniversary 50c piece.

Could we add 2007, 2008 and 2009 20c mint set coins to this list? By memory they weren't issued for circulation either?
Mint sets limited to 100k
I suggest any 2016 circulating coin will have the normal obverse
Why do you think they chose not to include the 1 and 2 cent coin in this release? They put them in for the 2006 40th anniversary. I thought that this might have been a monty..

What would they have put on them? They've already got all the designs, including the Crown.
I'm not sure... How about a sovereign and half sovereign for giggles?
Why not just leave them as 1 and 2 cents :)

Good idea :wavemulticolor:
Has anyone heard if RAM is going to issue a Proof set of the "In come the Dollars, In come the Cents" set of coins ?
The uncirculated set has the 80% Silver round 50c in it and a Proof set of these would be fantastic :good:
do you think that the unc set is actually GEM unc?
I had a look at a set yesterday at the coin show and the coins look absolutely stunning
They do look gem unc like older wedding set coins. One could start the specimen argument again!

I think you may be "baiting" me Kathryn :whistle2::angel:
I am getting a little excited as I have ordered a couple of these sets and haven't actually seen one yet.
I should get them by the end of the week :yahoo:
From what I have heard they are rather nice :good:

They are Unc RG and rather nice , they look like the quality that you find in the baby sets :good:
They are pretty "Bling" but they don't have the polished and smooth fields of the Wedding set coins.
This is the coin from the "in come the dollars/cents set"
Notice that the fields are a bit "Grainy" and the strike is not super defined.
I think this one will grade at MS67 maybe 68 at PCGS

Now look at this 2008 Wedding set coin.
Notice the polished and smooth fields also the astonishingly well defined strike.
An easy 69 with a shot at 70 at PCGS

Here are the 50c, 2c and the 1c coins from the "Here come the dollars/cents" set.

That 2008 20 c from the wedding set is simply amazing Trout. What a stunning coin! It certainly makes everything your comparing it to appear second rate.

Would be better to purchase a proof set or a mint set, or both ??
