Title: 1991 50 cent deeper reverse strike?
Post by: autocoupler on October 27, 2015, 11:12:17 AM
Was tiding up and straightening out the usual mess and noticed a 1991 50 Cent  reverse with what appears to be a much deeper strike and wider rim? There were 42 coins in all, mainly taken from or part of mint bags etc. Six displayed this characteristic. Is this a known oddity of this mintage?

Well spotted Auto!

Some fine micron wool there.

Did some quick lines and circles on your pics to further show the rim width difference. (All other things aside).
