Title: The Water Diviner
Post by: trout on October 22, 2015, 06:09:45 PM
I have just finished watching this Movie.
I highly recommend this to anyone and much prefer the memory of this movie to any red, orange , green or whatever coin the RAM churns out in the memory of our fallen soldiers :good:

I've seen it twice so far and would watch it again if it were on tonight. A top movie.

Slightly on topic, both my Grandmother and my Uncle (her son) could divine and did it for many property owners in years gone by. (They used green timber though).

I also can divine using a green "Y" shaped branch from the surrounding timber.
I used to be an exploration Driller with a 2 inch vacuum rig and water was NOT my best friend.
I used to divine and drill where there was NO water :ok:

I have absolutely NO idea of How it works.
When I was first shown this I laughed my head off and thought that I was being "set Up", But work it does :ok:

When I first learnt this I deliberately drilled a hole where I had "Found" water and sure as eggs I ended up with 6 drill rods blocked with mud that took a few hours of heating and belting with a gimpi hammer to clear.
I moved the rig to a spot nearby where there was NO indication of water and the hole was completed without any problems.
For the next three years I Never had to use that bloody gimpi again.

In Trout's instance it's probably like ..... "a fish takes to water". :laugh2:

In other people's instances perhaps harmonics, electro magnetic attraction, dark matter or just pure magic! (We are 60-75% water after all).

I'm not a guy, :winkextra:
 but I have seen it.

Good acting, and recommend it to all.

My dad could divine for water with a y shaped branch.
