Not a problem Matt. I'm glad it arrived safely.
Thanks for helping me complete my Lincoln cent set.
Looks Nice to me Mate :good:
Now all you need is the other 3 :)
Which other three, Trout?
I think he is referring to the other three commemorative florins;
•1927 Parliament house
•1951 50 years if Federation
•1954 Royal visit I did see the queen go past but only hazy memory (I was only 4½ at the time).
Then, of course you should have the two crowns; 1937 and 1938.
And then...(this coin collecting does suck you in.)
PS. Your centenary florin needs a Foy & Gibson bag to go with it too! Melbourne and Perth Foy Bags and the 1934-5 Centenary Florin (http://www.australian-threepence.com/collecting-coins/melbourne-and-perth-foy-bags-and-the-1934-5-centenary-florin/)
I do have the other three! As a matter of fact, I believe Trout himself helped me out with 2 of them!
Also, I do have the 1937 Crown. Fortunately its a typeset, so I wont have to sell a kidney for the 1938!
I think what will surprise you is just how tough it is to get the 1951 and 1954 coins in high MS grades. :angel:
The Parliament House and the Centenary coins were hoarded and stashed away safely, the other two coins were simply treated as Bullion and treated accordingly :ok:
