Title: I lied sorry
Post by: ausjack on August 08, 2015, 04:43:00 AM
I lied yesterday but it wasn't my fault, bloody internet said it was suppose to be 1 degree but then on the news last night they said it actually got down to -1 so no wonder I haven't been feeling the best..and a little crabby, sorry team

Hopefully a couple of weeks should see things warm up a little more AJ and you can come out of hibernation

Well, with the way the polar ice caps are melting we'll have to tow you down there to bolster the remaining iceberg "stocks" :D

Tell me about it. Not only is it wet and freezing outside, so that exercise is not an option, but my dad keeps the house like a fridge. There are two warm rooms, my bedroom heated by my dogecoin (well, litecoin now actually) miners, and the computer room where half a dozen machines are on 24/7. So the choices are bed sores from lying down all the time, or hemorrhoids from sitting on your arse all day in an office chair.

Can't wait for summer, things are so bad, not only can't I be stuffed going to the banks, but even putting my car's flat battery on charge hasn't happened for 3 days now. :(

Why on earth do any of us live down here anyway? Townsville's looking better by the day!

Hey Fulvio,
Fell free to visit here -we are a fair bit further north than you. So far this month temperatures are typically 2° higher than last month. We nearly hit 15° today and forecast maximum tomorrow is 16°.

HEHEHE
The downside living where I do is the Mercury can rise to well over 40 in the shade in summer

Sounds nice enough. But the problem is those lows. One of the 'benefits' of being in the big smoke is that its quite a bit warmer than the surrounding countryside. Doesn't help much daytime, but it makes a huge difference at night.

So I guess what I want is another Melbourne, only in the tropics! :)

Need I remind you of the 48° we've had here in sunny Melb? That was a hell of a week. :dodgy:

It's been so cold in Canberra lately that several politicians have been seen with their hands in their own pockets.

Is that cloud or low flying jet stream Steve :)

we get the best of both worlds here, freeze ya arse off in winter due to the mountains and stinkin hot in summer because of the valley so I really like the intermediate parts but they seem to be getting shorter and we just jump from summer to winter and then back again so I can't win :(
