Title: Crypto and all it's cousins
Post by: Nevol on June 19, 2015, 08:06:17 AM
Is anyone else getting fed up with all of Fulvios yakety-yak about these types of so called 'currencies'?  He never misses a chance to slip in a mention in many of his 'other' posts.

I for one am sick and tired of reading it all and wish he would take the whole discussion elsewhere.

Maybe I'm just getting old &  cranky.

Well even though I have nothing to do with other so called currencies......all members are free to discus numismatics or other titles as long as it is not abuse or illegal.

I for one read what he says and as long as members are responding we should leave well enough alone!

So long as it's not happening in the Numismatic forums - because apart from the discussion on the so-called "physical bitcoins", they've nothing to do with numismatics - I don't really have a problem with it.

Zealots will be zealots. So long as Fulvio's zeal does not lead either him or his critics into anti-social behaviour, let him stand on his soapbox and preach his heart out. People will either become converts to his weird religion, or (far more likely) they'll learn to ignore him.

Though I will admit to being tempted to changing just one character in that keyboard-slam alphabet-soup he's using for a signature these days, just to see what happens.

I am sick of it.  We are all well aware of Fulvio's opinions on the matter and he's just coming across as obsessive compulsive about the whole issue now.  Crazies drive away new forum members and give pause to other member before they post.  And Fulvio is rapidly approaching crazy status with his crypto obsession.

I've locked the bitcoins thread and I'll probably delete any threads he starts on them in the future.
