Attached are photos of the left hand claw from two 2014 20c pieces. There appears to be a difference with the second coin with a weaker / malformed left edge claw above the wave line.
A variety or just a weak strike?

Nice one Pedro ...... Skeleclaw ..... (nothing to do with the primary bad guy in He-Man).
Maybe we could call the blobs Bubbles?
Some sort of die fill? It does look a bit weird.
Weak strike. Seems pretty uniform across the whole area. See the lack of depth in the SD?
I'm not sure if it's die fill, weak strike or a worn die as it's a pretty common sight since about 2005. I know I've got 05, 06,& 07 & I think others here have had later years as well.
I always thought it was the result of a filled die.
Thanks folks - I have seen the 2007 but didn't realise that there were similar features with other years as well.

Some images of 2005, 06, 07
20c 2005-06-07 Skeleton Claw Trio. From my experience 07 is only found on the Thin 7 variety.

My 2014 looks very similar to the 2006 image that you have posted Nancy.

How Bizarre ...... my son pulled part of the console out of his car yesterday and found a few coins, this was one of them.
